SAINT MICHAEL - PATRON SAINT OF POLICE OFFICERS

Saint Michael, the Archangel
, defend us in battle,
Be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil,
Rebuke him, O God, we humbly pray, And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, By the Divine Power, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, Who roam about the Earth seeking the ruin and destruction of souls!

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel, Patron Saint of Police Officers

And there was a battle in heaven; Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels.  And they did not prevail, neither was their place found any more in heaven.  And that great dragon was cast down, the ancient serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, who leads astray the whole world; and he was cast down to the earth and with him his angels were cast down.

Apocalypse Chapter 12, verses 7 - 9

But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people: and a time shall come such as never was from the time that nations began even until that time. And at that time shall thy people be saved, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always..

Daniel, Chapter 12, verses 1-2
