OCTOBER 30 MEETING

The regular meeting held at the Elk’s Lodge on October 30, 2002 featured PBA Vice President John Puglissi and Carmine Russo of the PBA Health and Welfare, with Bob Zink of the PBA COPE and other PBA reps.

The meeting went well and a lively feedback from those in attendance was a good example of how active and retired members of the NYPD could engage in a dialogue about mutual issues of concern.

NOVEMBER 25 MEETING

The regular meeting held at the Elk’s Lodge on November 25, 2002 was also well attended.

We were honored to have NYC Minority Council Leader James Oddo address our group and he spoke of the budgetary problems facing us. This meeting also served as a forum for a lively exchange of ideas with our representative in the NYC Council.
